Character Sheets

When I was little, I was always creating characters, I'd create new ones for shows like Strawberry Shortcake most often. But these two I made for a little food-inspired adventure story I created a long time ago. I created this character inspired by narutomaki, or better known as fishcake. So, meet Kiyori!

She's a chef who loves big knives, hot pans and will never turn down an opportunity to create a spicy meal with new ingredients. If you can't already tell from her sheet, she's got a big, boisterous personality, but loves all of the fluff, frills and bows. I always imagined her being tall and deceivingly strong... I love it when women who are typically perceived as 'hardcore' wear things that are considered to be innocent and demure, if you will.

And now, meet Benedict!

Clearly, he's inspired by eggs. (Note the beret as the egg yolk.) He's baker and a little golden retriever gold star boy who I love very, very much. He's also got 9 other brothers and sisters who I ALSO love very much. I had a tough time deciding on what sort of clothes he'd wear because I always imagined him being a very clean guy, (and not gonna lie, men's fashion is not nearly as interesting to me) but I think this outfit suits him well.

At some point I'll post the rest of the characters I've made (as there are many lol), but for now, bon appetit and enjoy! <3
