Christmas At Capizzo!

Happy Holidays!

This was a commission for a gallery in my town called Capizzo - They have an awesome, super artsy vibe, so I was delighted when the owner suggested a poster and postcard for their annual Christmas party.

After I got a few reference photos for inspiration, I set to work! I was influenced by vintage Christmas party posters, handouts, and those national park postcards for the text. And since this is a gallery after all, I decided this poster and postcard MUST be framed, so I made a lovely gold one around the front of each. For the back of the postcard, I made it the back of it a painting to be clever - note the little wire and the folded canvas! Altogether, this project took me about 30ish or so hours, give or take.
